There are few experiences that can match river running in wild white water and few rivers as exciting as those of Nepal are. The snowmelt from the Himalayan giants winds through twisted canyons and calm valleys to gather into wide rivers spilling out on to the vast Indian plains. This is the heart of Nepal where terraced farmlands and small hamlets cling to the hills along the river's edge.

For adventure loving people, the torrential rivers provide a sample opportunity to enjoy river rafting in Nepal. Whether professional or amateur, white water rafting in Nepal provides a unique chance to see the natural beauty, flora and fauna, and enjoy the beautiful landscape in the most memorable way: by river-road or trail. These river trips take you deep into the country where you can enjoy the untouched landscape, picturesque villages, and beautiful farming terraces. Besides that various recreation activities can be done during the river trip, such as, swimming, sun bathing, festival, sightseeing, animal viewing and bird watching etc.

Our rafts are built to withstand the heaviest of punishment while comfortably accommodating ourselves and the supplies and equipment needed for an extended river journey. An experienced helmsman pilot from the stern, but paddle-power is needed from everyone to position the boat in the current line for the rapids. The 16 foot "rafts" takes a maximum of 8 people and usually operates in pairs to provide mutual support and spread the equipment load. Lifejackets are worn at all times and safety helmets are also used through the major rapids.

TRISHULI RIVER (2-4 Grade) ~ 1-3 days trip
The Trishuli River consider as a high commercial whitewater sports destination of Nepal due to its easy accessible. It is an excellent river for those who are looking for a day short rafting trip and short multi days trip without risk and challenge of big rapids with its beautiful scenery, peaceful environment and wonderful local cultural activities. In the monsoon season, water volume level rises up so the strength of the rapids increases and attracts rafters to challenge with its real adrenaline. The river flows down through massive gorges towards southern direction and it cut its way through the 2000-meter high Mahavarat Range of mid-hill then leaves it when it spreads out over the great plain of the Ganges of Indian plate.

SETI RIVER (2-3 Grade) ~ 2 days trip
The family classic wildness warm water river “Seti” passes through the lime stone gorge of beautiful Pokhara valley. It has unspoilt greenish jungle scenery, excellent bird watching site, local cultural heritage and beautiful clean beaches, many small and undemanding rapids. In the monsoon season, water volume level rises up so the strength of the rapids increases and attracts rafters to challenge with its real adrenaline.

The Seti River is an ideal rafting destination for those who are looking to experience some of the spectacular riverine forest scenery in mid-west of Nepal without rushing of big challenging rapids. It is also very famous for family rafting trips and one of the best spot to learn kayaking in Nepal.

SUN-KOSHI RIVER (4-5 Grade) ~ 8-10 days trip
The most popular classic expedition-rafting trip is one of the top ten-river journeys in the world. The sun Koshi rises near by Tibet, joined in the Bhote Koshi bellow of Barabise Bazaar, and continue follows eastwards of Nepal through the great valley of Mahabharat range. It is also the main watershed resource of the east Nepal. The river consists- beautiful open valley, amazing waterfalls, clean sandy beaches, dense forest and colorful remote cultural villages attract to explore whitewater seekers and challenge its grate rapids once.

BHOTE KOSHI RIVER (4-5 Grade) ~ 1-2 days trip
“Bhote” roughly translates as “river from Tibet so there are quite a lot of rivers with this name in Nepal. This Bhote Koshi is the main branch of the Sun Koshi. The river is followed by the Araniko highway so access and scouting are relatively easy. The upper valley above Bahrabise is impressively narrow with steep hill sides shooting up over 2000m from the river. And there are some dramatic and scenic gorges down at river level. Just to drive up the highway and look at the river is like reading an erotic novel – it quickens the blood and excited the mind.

Technically, the upper Bhote Koshi ends just after Barbisae where the Sun Koshi joins as a stream from the left: The lower Bhote Koshi rafting start right from the Lamasangu.

KALI GANDAKI RIVER (4-5 Grade) ~ 3 days trip
The kali Gandaki River is one of the oldest major tributary of Gandaki river system in mid-west of Nepal. Before Himalayan born 70 million years ago, the river was following from the marginal Himalayan range of Tibetan plate it was falling into the tethys sea of Indian Ocean. After Himalayan rage born it cut the valley of Annapurna (8091m) and Dhaulagiri (8167m) massif in between formed deepest gorge in the world. The kali Gandaki river valley route also known as oldest trading route and holy pilgrimage trail to the Muktinath (nirvana centre).

The beautiful sceneries, tumbling waterfalls and grate challenging rapids attract the many whitewater seekers to encounter once upon a time for their rafting experience. This holy river is ideal for medium length wildness expedition and a reward for bird watching and wildlife.

Best Season for Rafting
Autumn: September through November and Spring/summer: February through June will be best for river rafting in Nepal, however, we organize day trips in cold winter: December and January too.

TRIP KIT (things to pack)
River wear gear: shorts- half pant, T-shirts (long sleep for sun protection), swim wear, Sun Cap/Glass/Cream, personal water bottle, a pair of river sandals and a towel.

For the camp site wear: Personal sleeping bag, lightweight shirts, Trouser/pant, under garments socks, a towel, light shoe, Fleece type pullover, flash light, personal toiletries, camera, reading and writing materials, medication recommended by your doctor.
